With over 25 years of medical expertise, Marina Streckebein is a cornerstone of CRS. As a Medical Director of our Mannheim Unit since January 2023, she brings extensive experience from her roles as Deputy Medical Director and senior positions in anesthesiology at Thersienkrankenhaus Mannheim and Kreiskrankenhaus Freudenstadt. She is a specialist in anesthesia, emergency medicine, and operative intensive care, with a notable background in quality management and ethics. Her academic credentials from Heidelberg University and her dedication to advancing clinical research make her an invaluable leader in our mission to drive healthcare innovation.
With over 16 years at CRS Clinical Research Services, Dr. Baumann has been a driving force in advancing clinical research. As Medical Director of our Berlin Unit since January 2016, she has expertly led our research initiatives, leveraging her extensive experience from her previous role as Investigator and Deputy Medical Director in Mannheim. A graduate of Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg, Dr. Baumann combines her deep medical knowledge with a commitment to pioneering research and innovation in healthcare.
Dr. Maria Lehretz has built a distinguished career advancing medical science across a broad range of therapeutic areas and study phases.
Before joining CRS, Dr. Lehretz held key positions across Germany, including Medical Director at Velocity Clinical Research and Head of Clinical Research at eCovery. She also served as Senior Clinical Research Physician at Parexel and Medical Site Lead at SIBAmed, contributing to early and late-phase studies.

Dr. Sara Armani is an expert in scientific consulting (clinical pharmacology), serving as the vital connection between our Medical Affairs and Business Development teams. Since February 2020, she has led our Medical Affairs division, applying her more than 20 years of experience in the CRO industry, including her previous role at Parexel. Dr. Armani specializes in the planning and designing of clinical trials, first-dose calculations, protocol development, and medical monitoring. As a board-certified clinical pharmacologist, she also actively participates in safety review meetings and independent data monitoring committees.
Dr. Armani holds a Pharmacy degree from the Free University of Berlin, a Medical Doctor degree, and a Ph. D from Charité University Medicine and a bord Certification in Clinical Pharmacology from Berlin Physician Champer.
