Advanced Clinical
Research in the
Heart of Berlin
Berlin, Germany’s largest city, serves as a key hub for clinical research and life sciences. This strategic location ensures accessibility for trial participants and clients, with proximity to major medical institutions like Campus Charité Mitte and Virchow Klinikum.
Our facility features 18 intensive monitoring beds, each equipped with computerized ECG devices, continuous blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) measurement systems, and vital signs monitoring.
Additionally, we offer eight comfortable double rooms, several examination rooms, a gynecological unit with state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment, and laboratories for immediate blood and urine processing.
Our Berlin Unit specializes in early-phase clinical trials, particularly in women’s health, including studies involving postmenopausal women and special populations such as those with endometriosis or polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Our expertise extends to First-in-Human (FiH) and long-term outpatient studies with complex pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) designs across various administration routes (oral, dermal, subcutaneous, intravenous, intravaginal, intrauterine).
Our highly skilled team employs a range of established and experimental gynecological methods, including standard examinations, transvaginal ultrasound, vaginal cytology, endometrial biopsy, and Insler and Hoogland scoring. This comprehensive approach ensures the highest quality of care and research outcomes.
In addition to women’s health, our Berlin Unit also excels in conducting human pharmacological trials with cardiovascular drugs, contrast agents, and specialized therapeutics across diverse trial designs. Our extensive experience includes trials for cardiometabolic indications such as obesity, insulin resistance, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
We are adept at handling studies involving healthy volunteers, men’s health, elderly subjects, and early clinical research phases I and II. Our team is proficient in conducting trials with challenging PK/PD designs and various medicine administration routes, ensuring flexibility and precision in our research.
